Our mission is clear: to offer safe, accepting, and affirming programming, services, and resources that empower the LGBTQ+ community. We strive to build a world where everyone can feel valued, supported, and empowered to be their true selves.
OUR FOUNDER
Starting Our Spot was a deeply personal and transformative journey for me. For as long as I can remember, I yearned for a safe space—a place not just for myself, but for others who shared my experiences, struggles, and triumphs. I envisioned a community where people who looked like me, and who walked similar paths, could find solace and support.

Our Spot emerged from this profound need for connection and empowerment. It was created to be a hub for resources, dedicated to supporting, advancing, and equipping LGBTQ+ individuals. Our aim is to ensure the sustainability and growth of our community, providing the tools and opportunities necessary for each member to thrive.
